Poem: Faithful Dove

Precious child of mine
we are bound together, in my holy vine
when your heart aches, so does mine
when your tears fall, so does mine
when sin traps you, I am grieved
for you are a part of me

My perfect unfailing love, may it forever fill your heart
may you receive it fully
may my grace glow in your eyes forever
and on your face, an everlasting shine
may the world know of me
through your smiling face
may the world know of me
through your victory of this race

Never fear that you may stumble
or that your faith will crumble
I will be there to catch you
always behind you
My ever faithful child
when the world turns on you
when no one is there to lend a hand
to whisper comforting words
Cast your cares upon me
I will relieve your back of every burden
I will kiss away your pain
I will speak your name-unashamed
like the day into the world I came
and love upon the word I rained
and healing I manifested in the lame
demons I casted out of the insane
In you, I will demonstrate the same

In your heart, I shall reign
as I reign as King in heaven above
I will care for you
my faithful dove.
